A prosthetic cast that took 4 hours to build\n\n*Time stamp: 00:06:12*\n\n![Mirzapur Season 3 trivia](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/ddea220/2147483647/strip/true/crop/3840x2160+0+0/resize/767x431!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2Fdf%2Fb7%2F4ebcba7449f897f91873ae2ab187%2Fmirzapur-trivia-1.jpg)\n\nEver wondered how Munna *Bhaiyya’s* final rites’ closeup was shot? His entire face, with all its intricacies was created using a prosthetic cast that took 4 hours to build for only for 7 seconds of screen time.\n\n### 2. Shooting at a working crematorium\n\n*Time stamp: 00:07:39*\n\n![Mirzapur Season 3 trivia](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/c215680/2147483647/strip/true/crop/3840x2160+0+0/resize/767x431!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2F05%2F6a%2F5b8d2da4459db21bc9f79c8f0d22%2Fmirzapur-trivia-2.jpg)\n\nMunna’s cremation scene was shot in an actual crematorium, which meant the imposition of strict rules and a limited shooting window for the crew to work with. If a real cremation was scheduled during the shoot days, shooting had to halt. Fortunately, the shoot wrapped up within the allotted time.\n\n### 3. Home-cooked meals between fight scenes\n\n*Time stamp: 00:27:09*\n\n![Mirzapur Season 3 trivia](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/dd2d2af/2147483647/strip/true/crop/3840x2160+0+0/resize/767x431!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2F8c%2F28%2Fc45d932145d8add0ff5090650975%2Fmirapur-trivia-3.jpg)\n\nWe cannot talk about *Mirzapur* without mentioning the skilfully executed scenes of violence. Typically, during such scenes—like the one in Episode 1 where a literal beheading takes place in public—nearby residents expressed concerns. However, those living near the shoot location in Murga Gully were remarkably hospitable and even provided home-cooked meals to the crew and visiting fans.\n\n### 4. Vegetarian meat, anyone?\n\n*Time stamp: 00:39:32*\n\n![Mirzapur Season 3 trivia](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/343ebf3/2147483647/strip/true/crop/3840x2160+0+0/resize/767x431!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2Fdf%2Fa4%2F0a9832d147b49663ce7ca42d2550%2Fmirzapur-trivia-4.jpg)\n\nImportant conversations are often had over great meals and so was the case when Munawwar (Ayaz Khan) met with Guddu, Golu and Sharad (Anjumm Shharma) to discuss the shifting dynamics in Purvanchal. In the dining room scene at Munnawar's house in Episode 1, *laziz ghosht* (goat or sheep meet) is served to all the guests. However, none of the actors in this scene consume mutton, so what you see on the table is actually vegetarian mock meat.\n\n![Launching the new Amazon Prime Video streaming experience](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/ddf00bb/2147483647/strip/true/crop/1866x1244+0+0/resize/300x200!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2Fbf%2F76%2Ff343261b407b82cbf97adc639689%2Fpvapptransformed.png)\n\n- [Prime Video rolls out an improved streaming experience in India—here's what’s new](https://www.aboutamazon.in/news/entertainment/prime-video-new-features)\n\n## Episode 2: *Mexico*\n\n---\n\n### 5. Most of the crowd gathered in the statue-breaking scene were onlookers and pedestrians who recognized Ali Fazal and decided to stay and watch the shoot. “[These were almost 500 to 600 outsiders just watching the cast and crew do their thing,” said the show's director, Gurmmeet Singh, in an exclusive interview with *About Amazon*.](https://www.aboutamazon.in/news/entertainment/mirzapur-season-3-interview-ali-fazal)\n\n## Episode 3: *Pratishodh*\n\n---\n\n### 6. Dark chocolate masquerades as opium\n\n*Time stamp: 00:12:04*\n\nOne way to establish dominance in Mirzapur’s underworld is to be the go-to person for drug trade. In an attempt to do so, Golu meets with some opium brokers in Episode 3 and tries to negotiate its cost. The ‘afeem’ or opium being tasted in the scene is actually dark chocolate that has been melted and reshaped to make it edible for actors on screen.\n\n## Episode 5: *Traahi*\n\n---\n\n### 7. ‘Khukri’ to the rescue\n\n*Time stamp: 00:21:20*\n\n![Mirzapur Season 3 trivia](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/3a6e2ba/2147483647/strip/true/crop/3840x2160+0+0/resize/767x431!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2F64%2Fdd%2F2f93d08243478ff3451415356b1e%2Fmirzapur-trivia-7.jpg)\n\nBack from his trip to Kathmandu in Episode 5, Guddu asks about Golu’s whereabouts but doesn’t seem to find a concrete answer from Beena or the house help. In this scene where he’s sitting in the living room with Beena, the knife he is holding is called ‘Khukri.’ This is a type of utility knife that has been used by Gurkhas (soldiers from Nepal serving in the British and Indian armies) and also eventually made its way into the inventory of the Nepalese army.\n\n### 8. Vitamins replace vices: Portraying Cocaine use safely\n\n*Time stamp: 00:45:33*\n\n![Mirzapur Season 3 trivia](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/4c8cc01/2147483647/strip/true/crop/3840x2160+0+0/resize/767x431!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2Fc9%2F3a%2Fd8e23860403ca96bbed5ff93b04e%2Fmirzapur-trivia-8.jpg)\n\nGolu is still missing and as Guddu beats himself over it, a scheming Beena slips him a packet of cocaine to take his mind off things. This cocaine that Guddu consumes off of the *gaddi’s* armrest is actually Vitamin B12 powder. It was cleared by a medical professional as the safest possible solution for Fazal to ingest on screen.\n\n![Crunchyroll Prime Video add-on subscription](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/329582d/2147483647/strip/true/crop/1080x720+100+0/resize/300x200!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2F4d%2F45%2Fd46f0da841cd85b66504278d4003%2Fcrunchyrollpv.jpg)\n\n- [How to access more than 800 Crunchyroll anime titles on Prime Video](https://www.aboutamazon.in/news/entertainment/crunchyroll-anime-prime-video-channels)\n\n## Episode 6: Bhasmasur\n\n---\n\n### 9. This signifies that once signed and broken, one cannot go back on the final decision made. It also portrays symbolism that a pen used to take someone's life should never be used again.\n\n## Episode 9: *Ansh*\n\n---\n\n### 11.
