Prime Video India just unveiled its biggest lineup of titles yet at Prime Video Presents 2026, and it's packed with exciting announcements. From new titles to returning favorites, theatrical releases to regional content, here's everything you need to know:
1. New titles that will keep you hooked
Prime Video announced close to 55 series and movies, with several highly anticipated new titles making their debut. The lineup includes Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, and Gurfateh Pirzada; Matka King starring Vijay Varma; Raakh starring Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre, and Aamir Bashir; Lukkhe, which marks the acting debut of rapper KING.
The slate also introduces exciting new collaborations. Hrithik Roshan's HRX Films makes its foray into streaming with Original series Storm and Original movie Mess, while Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions brings the Original movie Don't Be Shy.
2. Your favorite shows are coming back
Prime Video India brings back hit series in 2026. Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi return in Farzi Season 2, the crime thriller from Raj & DK. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav star in Panchayat Season 5. Ananya Panday leads Call Me Bae Season 2 with Vir Das and Shruti Hasan. Sonakshi Sinha stars in Dahaad Season 2. Karan Johar hosts The Traitors Season 2 with 20 celebrities competing in the reality series.
3. Amazon MGM Studios' theatrical slate
A key highlight was the unveiling of Amazon MGM Studios' exciting new theatrical slate with five new Indian movies: Raftaar, starring Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh, directed by Aditya Nimbalkar; Kunal Kemmu's directorial venture VIBE, featuring Kemmu, Preity G Zinta, and Sparsh Shrivastava; Dilkashi, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, produced by Hansal Mehta and Sahil Saigal, with music by A.R. Rahman; Nayyi Navelli, starring Yami Gautam, directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by Aanand L. Rai; and Kuku Ki Kundli directed by Sharan Sharma, featuring Bhuvan Bam and Wamiqa Gabbi.
The slate also delivers a significant lineup of licensed movies across multiple Indian languages with post-theatrical digital premieres on the service.
4. Regional content gets bigger
Prime Video is expanding its regional storytelling with its biggest slate yet. The lineup includes major launches such as the Telugu adaptation of the hit Hindi unscripted series The Traitors with Teja Sajja as host, Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat, a Telugu drama starring Kiran Abbavaram and Thiruveer, as well as the Tamil drama Exam, Season 2 of Vadhandhi produced by Pushkar and Gayatri, and Season 2 of Inspector Rishi.
5. Prime Video India's growth story
India continues to play a pivotal role in Prime Video's growth worldwide, with Prime Video India ranking amongst the highest territories globally in terms of attracting new Prime members and the percentage of Prime Members streaming Prime Video in 2025. Close to two-thirds of customers watch content in more than four languages, reflecting the growing appetite for diverse storytelling. Over half of the most-watched Top 50 non-English titles in 2025 came from Prime Video India.
The slate features compelling Original series and movies in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, spanning a wide range of genres across both scripted and unscripted storytelling, with new stories from India's leading production houses such as Dharmatic Entertainment, D2R Films, Excel Entertainment, Tiger Baby Films, Emmay Entertainment, Abundantia Entertainment, The Viral Fever, and Wallwatcher Films, among others.
