Amazon has launched the new Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio smart speakers in India. Both devices are built to deliver premium audio experiences, are powered by Amazon’s AZ3 custom silicon chips for fast performance and feature Omnisense technology, which enables automated smart home routines using presence, motion, and temperature detection. With Alexa built in, you can play music, manage smart home appliances and handle everyday tasks—all with just your voice.

Premium smart speakers built for room-filling sound
Echo Dot Max: Echo Dot Max is our best Echo Dot yet. It features a sophisticated two-way speaker system—a first for the Echo Dot line up. It also has a high-excursion woofer for deep bass and a custom tweeter for crisp high notes. It delivers nearly 3x the bass of Echo Dot (5th Gen) with sound that automatically adapts to your space. The redesigned audio architecture provides double the air space compared to the previous generation, improving bass performance and efficiency.
Echo Studio: Echo Studio is built to deliver an immersive sound experience in a compact design. It supports room-adapting spatial sound with Dolby Atmos for a true surround sound experience, adding clarity and depth to the audio. It combines a powerful high-excursion woofer, for deep bass, with three optimally placed full-range drivers that work together to create sound that fills the room. Echo Studio comes with a new, modern spherical design and 3D knit fabric to maintain acoustic transparency.

At the core of these smart speakers are Amazon’s custom-designed silicon chips—AZ3 for Echo Dot Max and the more advanced AZ3 Pro for Echo Studio. Both chips improve Alexa’s ability to detect the wake word by nearly 50% and enable better conversation detection.
Smart home automation with Omnisense
Both speakers feature Omnisense, Amazon's custom sensor platform designed for ambient AI. It uses a combination of audio, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, and accelerometer signals to enable automated smart home routines based on presence, motion and temperature detection.
Both Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio come with built-in smart home hubs supporting Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, and Bluetooth—so you can easily pair and control Alexa-compatible smart appliances like lights, ACs, fans, and plugs.
