Amazon Smbhav 2022

With the theme of 'Pragati', the Amazon Smbhav 2022 summit is an effort on our part to contribute to the journey of Aatmanirbhar India. Over the course of two days, this virtual summit is going to entail topics such as small business digitization, exports and startup enablement, innovation, skills development, and job creation.

Policy makers, eminent industry leaders, solution providers, startups, and Amazon leadership are set to take part in keynotes, panel discussions, and masterclasses during the grand event. Through this initiative, Amazon India aims to explore best e-commerce practices to enable digitization and economic progress of lakhs of small local businesses across India.

As always, the key highlight of the event will be our annual Amazon Smbhav Awards, which resognise those local sellers, home entrepreneurs, associates and individuals, who not only serve as our partners but have contributed immensely to the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

What is Amazon Smbhav?

In its first edition, we pledged to digitize 10 million MSMEs, generate $10 billion in cumulative exports from India and create 2 million additional jobs in the country by 2025. Since then, we have already digitized 2.5 million MSMEs, enabled exports worth $3 billion and created over a million direct and indirect jobs in India.

In the last Amazon Smbhav, we made a series of announcements, which included the launch of a $250 million Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund to invest in startups, building solutions to empower SMBs to launch, manage, and grow their business online, automate and digitize their operations, and expand their business globally by exporting to customers worldwide. We also launched the Spotlight North-East program and committed to onboard one million local neighborhood stores on Amazon.in by 2025.

Amazon Smbhav Award Ceremony
