The countdown to Smbhav 2023—an extraordinary assembly of India’s top industry leaders, policymakers and startup founders—has begun. Smbhav 2023 is a celebration of the boundless potential that lies within the realm of Indian MSMEs and the opportunities that digitisation presents over the next decade. The summit will enable MSMEs to gain insights into megatrends and breakthrough opportunities in e-commerce, marketing and technology adoption. The 2023 edition of Smbhav holds a special significance for multiple reasons: it’s being organised as a physical summit after two years of being online-only. Also, Smbhav 2023 comes a couple of months after Amazon announced its commitment to take its India investment to $26 billion by 2030 during a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amazon CEO Andy Jassy at Washington DC.

These announcements take Amazon closer to fulfilling its pledges—digitise 10 million MSMEs, generate $20 billion in cumulative e-commerce exports and create 2 million jobs in India by 2025.
