It's a wrap. Amazon India's inaugural Black Friday event started on November 29 and ended on December 2. A hugely celebrated event globally, the India edition of the Black Friday event featured deals on premium brands in categories such as electronics, appliances, décor, fashion, and beauty. Brands such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, Nike, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Panasonic, Jean Paul, Dabur, LG, ALDO, Swarovski and others participated in the sale event.
“The record-breaking success of Amazon Great Indian Festival 2024 showed the huge appetite that Indian customers have for great value. Now, we're raising the bar by bringing Amazon's popular shopping event globally, Black Friday, to India for the first time ever on Amazon.in, with savings across electronics, beauty, home appliances, and décor from both Indian and international brands,” Saurabh Srivastava, Vice-President, Categories, Amazon India, said before the sale event began.

Customers got 10% instant discount with HDFC, IndusInd, BOB Card and HSBC bank debit and credit cards, and credit EMI. For the 4-day sale, Prime members were eligible to get unlimited 5% cashback on all purchases using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank co-branded credit card, while non-Prime members received 3% cashback.
