This year, Amazon India is celebrating PrimeDay with a unique experience for shoppers across the leading metros of the country. The Virtual Reality experience is an India first Prime Day special for customers. The Amazon Prime Day Experience Zones set up for shoppers at popular malls are offering 360-degree experiences of new product launches from leading brands. And what’s more, these ‘out-of-body’ experiences come to ‘serious’ shoppers much before their official launch on Prime Day.
Trust me when I say 360, it’s not funny how technology has come so far!
When shopping enthusiast Siddhi dropped in at Inorbit Mall in Malad, Mumbai, recently, with her friend, Varun, this is what she had to share about their almost sci-fi experience: “Varun looked like a fool trying to figure out the VR device! If you were with us, I am sure you’d be laughing along at the both of us trying to touch and feel the products because we actually thought we could! What an epic experience using the VR device with Amazon, trust me you don’t want to miss this! You rarely get to see these set ups in India yet, and this one is one of a kind!” Siddhi must’ve been having fun, because she couldn’t stop laughing, as she recalled their VR experience! “You can shop and see a 360-degree view of products from fashion, home decor, appliances and beauty lines. Trust me when I say 360, it’s not funny how technology has come so far!” she managed to add between giggles.
Srishti Soummya, another avid shopper had similar fun experiences to share from Select Citywalk in Saket, New Delhi. “I checked out the super cool Amazon Virtual Reality booth today at Select Citywalk and had so much fun! It's like being inside a video game, doing my favourite thing – window shopping!” Looks like the infection’s spreading ‘virtually’!
On till 17 July, shoppers visiting the Prime Day Experience Zones at prime shopping centres of Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata can experience India's biggest launches by brands like Bosch, Marks & Spencer, Nestle NesPlus and many more. They can even experience how products will look in their own homes. Now, how cool is that?
