Amazon Great Indian Festival has generated robust sales growth for brands and helped them further solidify their digital footprint. 80% of new customers this AGIF were from tier 2 and 3 towns, broadening the audience and driving awareness for sellers across categories. Several brands reported a 1.5-5x growth in sales over the last one month. Here’s what brand executives are saying.

Amazon.in’s Great Indian Festival 2022 has ushered the festive shopping season for consumers across the country. At Xiaomi, we are celebrating this event with offers across the entire portfolio of smartphones, smart TVs and other AIOT products. We received a phenomenal response from customers in the Great Indian Festival with 7 out of the top 10 bestsellers across Smartphones and Smart TVs from the Xiaomi stable (Mi / Redmi). We continue to be No1 brand on Amazon India for Smartphones and Smart TVs. The Redmi A1 has been the pick of the customers in the budget segment and the Redmi Note 11 series and the Xiaomi 11 series has been the pick of the customers in the mid-premium to premium segment. Overall, we have seen a 5X growth in smartphone demand compared to the regular period. Smart TVs is a segment that gained a lot of customer interest in the festive season and we are delighted with the response, as we have witnessed 70% YoY growth.
