9 years of Prime Day in India
In India, the first Prime Day was launched in July 2017 as a way to celebrate Prime members. Since then, we’ve laid the foundation for an exclusive world of shopping, shipping and entertainment benefits for customers across India. Prime membership plays a big role in how Amazon is making online shopping a part of everyday life in India. Customers get the best value on products from the comfort and convenience of their homes. Free and fast shipping is the foundation of Prime and is overwhelmingly the biggest reason new customers sign up for Prime memberships. But there's more, so much more that you can get out of your Prime membership. Amazon Prime is designed to make your everyday life better via the best of shopping, savings, and entertainment in one single membership.
Amazon Prime has even extended product access into smaller towns, making e-commerce a phenomenon beyond tier 2 and 3 cities. What’s more, members who watch Prime Video or listen to Amazon Music renew their memberships at higher rates and often shop more. We know that you come for the shopping but stay for the entertainment!
